Very narrow heel - braces, braces and supports

I returned this, wear 6.5 shoes and ordered a small. The length of the foot was great but the back of the heel was very narrow and the velcro at the top was of terrible quality.

  • Easy fit
Cons
  • Fine

Don't worry, come back.

Thought it was a good deal but didn't fit when I asked if they had a larger belt (my PT has these so I know they have them). Velcro. Very helpful. no

Arrived with broken knuckles

Cheaply made. The material of the strap was separating from itself. Even if it arrived safe and sound, the strap looks cheap and I doubt it will last very long. I work in physical therapy. I have used Mamy AFO and various ankle/foot/knee braces in the past. I would not buy this product. Rather spend more money for better quality! Very disappointing .

  • Excellent overall

  • Negative impression

Recommended by a physiotherapist; approved by the client!

On the recommendation of a physical therapist, this was purchased for a customer to reduce the tendency of her ankle to rotate inwards following a stroke. As a result, her collar mimics a normal stride better, she has better control of the affected leg, and she feels "lighter" (her word, not mine!}).

Works with some settings

So far it hasn't fallen apart like the others. I wear sneakers most of the time and took off the insert that came with my shoes to put in this support and I put another thin arch insert on top as it was pinching the back of my foot. My previous custom build was thicker plastic and the bottom of the foot was longer which caused the balls of the foot to burn when the foot was flipped. With these, centoes and a thin insole with a cushioning arch, it works much better than my old one. Size M for my

Strap NOT as shown

The product photo shows a very simple 1&1/2 inch brown strap that is easy to wrap around and secure with a hook and loop. The strap of the resulting product is approximately 3 inches long. These are intricate pieces of fabric that need to be tucked in and then require the end of the strap to be threaded through a very thin slot. My sister in law had a stroke and can't use her right hand so doing it with one hand on her right foot was a hassle that took over 10 minutes. She puts it on and it…

No more ankle movement!

I have very weak and muscular insufficiency in my right foot/ankle due to nerve damage from sciatica. I've used many different ankle braces and braces that are good but don't provide enough stability. This splint is the answer to my frequent ankle rolling, for which I am very grateful! I sprained my ankle several times and broke the poor thing once. I also have a small foot drop which of course this tire corrects very well. I walk amazingly well in this brace, I thought I would look immobile…
