This is my first helmet so I can't compare it to others but I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I'm making a crusader costume for festivals. It has no shipping damage and a few blemishes on the gold-tone metal just add character. Fits perfectly. i have a small head

Arrived just in time for the Renfest. My husband said he had no problem wearing it all day. It is more comfortable with a chain mail hood. The only complaint was that walking visibility was pretty poor. It really complimented the Templar's costume and he drew quite a bit of attention. 😅

Not sure if the poor fit is caused by the big back of my head or my big nose! The helmet has an adjustable mesh inside for smaller heads than me. Because of the eye slits, I would call it a knight's helmet. They allow you to only look ahead without turning your head. The seller shows good pictures of the real helmet. That's cool! Returned for fit not quality.

For the price I paid for this I really deserve a helmet that is ready to go. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my head (I have a wide head shape and a slightly larger nose than many) and as soon as I opened it the pieces started falling off! I don't know how long its internal structure will last, but I'm sad that my nose hurts after wearing it for a few minutes. I can't even fit in well enough to see from those two open lines

My son requested this helmet for his 13th birthday and he was not disappointed. It's pretty hard work. I have ordered a liner to wear underneath but there is already leather in the helmet for a closer/more comfortable fit and he prefers not to wear a liner. So if I can save someone time and money I wouldn't bother with a liner! It comes greased, but he hasn't complained about the smell. He even wore it in the car. 😂 Very happy with my purchase!

This helmet is of very good quality, fits well. It looks pretty authentic inside and out. It's actually quite convenient. I would recommend buying Knights helmets from this company. When ordering make sure you allow 6-7 days for delivery, although the shipping options offer less, we did expedited shipping and delivery still took 6 days. The company was very responsive and emailed several times about shipping etc. Good company, good quality - it only takes a week to ship the items.

As you can see from the photos the helmet does not have diamond holes on the front. It has 20 holes on the right side forming a square. On the left is a carved cross, which is also completely different from the images advertised on Revain. On the forehead of the helmet there are only two brass-to-steel mounting points instead of three, and they are uneven. Finally, there are massive dents on the top of the helmet, as if hit with an ax. A few downsides - it's ok as it needs to be done by hand…

Very good helmet. Unfortunately part of the brass crucifix on the nose (just between the eyes) was dented in transit and cannot be straightened out without removing it. To do this, you will need gunsmith tools and rivets. The chin strap has not been installed correctly. The strap has been riveted with a small hook on the wrong side of the buckle.
