I have great hair when I style it. I have long curly/wavy hair that doesn't have a pretty curl pattern - it's usually frizzy with a bit of curl and waves and doesn't look very pretty. My usual procedure was to let them air dry and then tame them with a curling iron. Now I let it air dry about 50-75% then use these sticks to dry it 90% then I take it out and I have to say my hair looks sooo good. zero heating. Looks more natural than a curling iron. I was looking for a way to curl my hair without heating it. I had a perm, but I don't like the damage, the hair becomes like straw. I bought smaller flexible wands but they make me look like Shirley Temple. These 1 inch rods give me the look I want. I've only slept on it once. It was super uncomfortable. So I use a keratin straightener and lightly dampen my hair. I use two packs (8 rolls). I like the result very much.

These rods are AMAZING! They have done wonders for my hair! It took a little practice to get my curls this flawless, but don't give up! I watched a YouTube video about the "wrap" method instead of the traditional roll you think of when using rolls. The steps I took were: 1) wash hair, let it air dry mostly 2) add some hair oil 3) wrap it up and go to sleep 4) wake up, finger brush your curls, apply hairspray and go! They don't work. They are not long enough to bend the ends to hold the coiled hair in place. Also, the foam is so thick, which is what I wanted for the big curl, that the wire inside is still not strong enough to hold it. Small ones work but make a tight curl. It's just bad design. Don't waste your money, the seller won't refund you, but Revain will if you ask. If I could give zero stars I would. These end up in the trash.

.and totally useless. Curlers are not blocked. They just flutter around your head until they fall out. waste of time and money. They end up in the landfill.
