for this money suits me because I will not use it often. I tried honing and sharpening with my file and using a shim to enhance the edge. it just doesn't seem to be sharpening properly. I used water as a lubricant as I didn't have any oil on hand. I have since ordered the oil and will try again. Just take a look!

This palm sized little stone worked well (quite quickly) on my dull ax blade. I used it for probably 2 minutes on each side for each blade size and immediately noticed the shine returning to the edge of the blade. If I could put zero stars I would. I used it to clean a badly rusted shovel I needed for gardening. It all started well, then the sand came off like sand and didn't stop until it was half its normal full size in less than 15 minutes. It is wrong to trade anything for rust removal tools, it must be quality and not fake. I should have expected that for the price, save your money and buy some quality. It's not worth your money.
