Good ball head and great customer service

I received a ball head that had a locking problem. I contacted support and they investigated the issue. They stated that the item I received was not good and two days later I received a replacement ball head which works great. I love it and use it to align the laser beam.

Much better than most in this price range

This is a great little ball head. Strong enough to carry a light camera, but I use it between the mic and the boom so I can quickly adjust the angle of the mic. Sturdy construction, feels solid. Much better than most I've tried in this price range. I liked it so much I bought another one just in case I needed it.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Don't waste your money

I bought this to add to the switch I just bought because it doesn't have a ball mechanism. I thought it would work. He was completely unstable and the ball was slowly moving from side to side. And my camera is the smallest DSLR on the market, so it's not the weight. Then the inside that you screw the tripod onto came off and ruined my new tripod. It was just a huge waste of my time and money.

Good in many ways

Good quality. . I am currently using it on my monopod as a handheld mount. Seems well done. . even colorful. . although I'm not sure what the page level is. I've had cheap versions and it's certainly nice. . I don't know the weight/safety capacity but it keeps me going when I'm walking around town with a cane/cane/monopod. I look forward to using it with my camera/monocular. . but that saves my hand for now (with the stem turned sideways and the retaining ring in my pocket).

Great ball head for any price.

I just bought two of these to mount LED lights on stands. They work great. I've tried cheaper options but they don't last long. These ball heads have an all-metal construction and are very well made. They attach easily to my light stands and hold the light securely. I had a small problem with one of the ball heads in my order so I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement within a few days. Very friendly and professional customer service. I will buy more in the future.

  • Everything is fine!

Good entry level/point and shoot ball head

Nice little detachable tripod ball head for lightweight or point and shoot cameras. Heads when mounted at an angle. Overall the construction is great, the anodizing is high quality, the carvings are smooth and well finished. , it will do you good. (In my testing, it didn't support a lens over 80mm unless the lens used plastic optics.)

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Annoying

Works great but won't shrink or slip - Updated

I have several of these from different manufacturers. It had the potential to become my favorite, but it has two downsides. First, the rubber feet don't protrude far enough to stick to the surface they're sitting on. Second, if you mount it horizontally, the pivot adjustment screw is too low, causing it to wobble back and forth because it can't sit flat. Otherwise, attach it to a tripod or slider and you're good to go! Updated 2021-0628. I've just noticed that it sits flat and doesn't slip when

Almost perfect but you get what you pay for

Update - just noticed that the base rotates freely when you actually mount it on a tripod and there is no way to stop it from rocking prevent because the lock rotation does not work I do not work. Nothing good. Still works well as a standalone mount on a table or if your tripod head has a non-slip rubber pad. ------------- This little flexible head is actually surprisingly good for the price. The aluminum parts are well finished and all joints feel very smooth and nice. However, mine was…
