Update: I have upgraded to 5 stars. Anova's customer service was excellent. They promptly emailed me a return label. After UPS scanned the label, a replacement was made. I received it very quickly. Good company and good product. I recommend this product and this company. I bought my Sous Vide Anova Culinary ANTC01 on April 23, 2020 and received it on May 7, 2020. I have used it 5 times. On July 3, 2020 I noticed it had developed a large stress crack and went to the Revain website to return or…

Like it but could use some improvement

Slightly disappointed. The quality is excellent, but there are a few points that are real downsides for me. First, there are only handles on the short sides. Handles should be on ALL 4 sides as depending on how you store it or place it on the counter the lack of handles on the long sides can make it difficult to move (even without water!). Secondly, the lid has to be really hinged. While the lid is well made, the lack of a hinge makes it very difficult to open when you need to adjust the…

Great idea, poor execution

The unit looked great when I received it. The stand seemed fine, the washer was crap but it fit my platter just right and I liked the legs underneath. Then I used it. I decided to cook a 9 pound pork shoulder at 165F for a little over twenty hours. He filled the vessel, heated the water and put the meat in it. Noticed the problem right away. Two years ago I was given an Anova sous vide heater/circulator pump for Christmas. Used at least once a week, often more often. We love evenly cooked, perfectly tender and juicy meat that comes out with minimal effort and wonderful texture. We had this success with Anova in an old 8 quart, 10" diameter, 6" deep pot.
