Perfect truck antenna

It was perfect, I have the same good reception as before, so no problem here. Passed the car wash with no issues, despite being spanked it survived the cleaning/spanking it needed! Looks stylish compared to stock antenna. The black color completes the finish. It is worth replacing and updating the style.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Minor problems

Rubber Antenna: Antennas

What I liked about this antenna was that it gave my truck a cool look, what I didn't like was that it didn't have factory antenna reception, in fact I often lost reception even to the next one local FM stations and generally forgot about AM stations. I would not recommend this type of antenna, I have found that most if not all antennas are about the same and reception is very poor.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • For Seniors

I can still tune my radios!

The antenna was a simple upgrade from the factory antenna. I had to remove the factory antenna as the car wash I attend does not allow a long antenna to be installed on the vehicle. I'm tired of unscrewing the factory ones before driving through the sink. This antenna solved that problem. The first time I went to the sink, I was concerned that the antenna would hold up. He's fine and I've washed the car 3 times to date.

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Great replacement for the OEM antenna

I replaced the 31" antenna on my 2007 F150 after the washer turned it clockwise to remove it. He came off - when the hairpin parted. After disappointing reception with short antennas I ordered a replacement for this 21" which works great. Reception is clear with no static electricity. The short length is not a problem. I live in a suburban area. The broken end of the old antenna out Unplugging the outlet wasn't easy, but once I did, installing the new one was trivial.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost OK
