Large stereo antenna

Excellent stereo antenna. I looked at Turks before finding this very stylish gem. I like that the engineers chose the best reinforcement for the structure. Adjustable gains keep you guessing. This unit works great on FM with my Denon TU-600 tuner. A good strong signal goes to the tuner. The bass is powerful, the mids are clean and powerful, the highs are a bit weak but still clean. I haven't tried the AM wires as they seem a bit small. So I just use my loop antenna. Very happy with this…

Great looking device but the support guy told me they are.

Well I called customer service as I can sit in the driveway and get the 95.7 FM channel. But go 15 feet inside and hook up an antenna to my home theater and nothing but hiss. The support team let me try different things but nothing worked. Great looking device but the support guy told me they specialize in TV reception so take it for what it's worth. I live in Dayton, Ohio and the customer service representative said the feed I was trying to get was 20 miles from my address. So I don't know…

Good local reception

This is the best indoor FM antenna I've tried and I've tried several with and without a booster. Reception on all stations with a range of around 25 miles is excellent and it seems truly omnidirectional as I don't have to fiddle with its position when switching FM stations. My receiver does not support the AM band; So I can't rate the AM reception but the FM reception I get with this antenna is the best I've had so far. It probably isn't as good as a rooftop antenna - I can't pick up stations…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not automatic

Great value for money in an attractive, compact body

Antenna works great for AM and FM. I replaced the bunny ears I used for VHF and the simple loop antenna that came with the stereo. When I connected AM to this antenna, the stereo started picking up a signal even before I connected it, simply due to the cable's proximity to the antenna connector. The FM portion picks up a few stations that I didn't rabbit ears on. It worked reasonably well without the power adapter, but picked up more stations with the power adapter connected. It's fairly…

Does everything I need - definitely did the job for ME!

My Pioneer receiver, which is over 40 years old, hasn't even seen the local classical music station PBS. Another amp - MUCH older - with a tuning knob allowed me to FIND the station and play it, but it squeaked. The ground here is pretty flat, so I'm surprised it's so difficult to get this public college radio station to work. I went with this amp and combined with the existing one it got the job done. NO scratching. Went from the bar to two bars (out of 3) PLUS and perfect sound. ONE…

Not useless. but pretty close.

I live in an area where my cars have poor FM radio reception. I broke an old mothball stereo (amp/preamp/tuner/turntable) and decided that a boosted antenna was needed to pick up radio stations. I connected the Antop antenna to the tuner and could only receive two stations. Both were really prickly. They too were not clear enough to listen. The clarity changed every time I turned on the stereo or moved the Antop's antenna. However, it was never clear enough to actually hear FM stations. I just…

Pros

  • Definitely a bad product
