Aggravating. I like my retina too much to use it.

This helmet looks and feels good. Unfortunately, it started flashing when I first used it. I turned on the delay but no change. I thought maybe the flickering overhead light would have triggered them somehow, but after trying incandescent, fluorescent, and LED lights, I couldn't see any improvement. I thought I could hide the sensors but I couldn't remember them. I bought this item a few months ago and haven't even had the chance to take it out of the box so thought maybe the batteries were…

Great helmet for the price!

I bought this helmet after looking at a few. I even considered the Harbor Freight option and it was actually cheaper than the HF and offered better graphic design. The plastic is light but not bad. Out of the box it works as intended. The instructions can seem a bit confusing at first, and if you trust something like this to hurt your eyes, it can be scary. But I can say that I used it for several hours over several days and it worked very well. A few things I can say is to press the battery…

Hard to beat for the money. I've been using auto-darkening helmets for over ten years and absolutely love them. I needed a new one as I live in a different country where my old one is currently located. This helmet solves all the problems I had with the previous one. 1) It has an adjustable lower limit when the helmet falls. Thus, the helmet falls in the same place every time.
