Invalid set description.

This pen says these are pens, but I only have one pen, not a two-pen set. The description is very deceptive. I wanted a set, not individual pens, but I needed a set. If you need to replace two or more, this is just a handle.

Generally decent quality, though.

The ends are not doubled and sewn as stated. They are simply cut off and must be secured well so that they do not come loose. Additionally, they are unevenly centered on the grip itself, so we had to adjust the grip and trim off excess material to "balance" it before installation.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Great value for do-it-yourself cooler handles

When renovating this steel-clad Coleman cooler, I wanted to replace the flimsy plastic handles with a stronger construction like the Yeti. Yeti wanted $20 to replace the handle. With these $5 and $2 lines from West Marine I was able to make them myself!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Something Different

Not as difficult as expected!

Not as heavy as expected, the quality is thin and very flexible, needs a thicker and less flexible handle. I skipped the 2 3/4" webbing and it will work, but maybe run 1/2" tubing through it to make it stiffer. So if you're carrying a light item this will work, but I carry about 30 pieces. pounds, on hand is better than without.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Minor problems

How to make them last.

These descriptors are great. I've been using them on and off for decades. To make them last longer, keep them out of direct sunlight. Otherwise they rot very quickly. Also, rinse them in salt water after use. If you have no choice and need to keep them outside, keep them in the shade. This extends the life of your kayak and prevents the handles from rotting prematurely. Yes, the day will come when you take a kayak and break the handles, so keep a spare set with you.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Useless functions

DO NOT BUY! TERRIBLE STONE!

Wow! I can't even begin to tell you how bad they smell. The STRONG chemical smell they emit is SO BAD. I washed them, soaked them and used an aerosol deodorant spray. Nothing worked. The smell comes from your hands and all the materials they touch. To throw them away I had to wrap them in plastic wrap and put them in a ziplock bag to throw in the trash. My eyes and nose sting and the headache comes on almost immediately. The material from which they are made cannot be safe for humans. DO NOT…

Handles for old heavy punching bag

Summary: Looked cheap. Felt cheap. I thought they would break on first use. They have held up - gone through 1 workout and still look like new. Will update this review in 6 months or sooner if they break sooner. Full Review: I had an old heavy punching bag that I couldn't hang up because it was too heavy. 2 D-rings torn off at top. I've used it for floorwork (BJJ) on occasion, but not as often as I thought I would. Impractical to store and move from camp to the training ground so that's…
