Enhancing Accuracy and Versatility: Anytime Tools Digital Indicator Extension Review

Well packaged in a handy plastic case. So far I've only checked the threads for proper seating and found that the extensions work with my dial indicator, but they don't match the threads on my digital readout. Not even knowing at first that this accessory was even available I can't give a value for money but I have to say that it will be very handy since I only had to use my indicator on a few occasions. In terms of accuracy, I believe it will depend on the sensor itself, not the extensions.

I will be using these for woodworking to index the splice jig. I use two or three 1/8" blades with a .005" spacer to ensure the fit isn't too tight. I measured the sticks several times with a Mityutoyo micrometer, rotating the sticks each time. The actual length across the planes for the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 inch rods were 0.997, 1.998, 2.990, 4.008, 4.996 and 6000 inches. For woodworking, that's not too bad, but note that 2 bars will come out more than .005". They are not designed for precision

I recently purchased these and tested them almost immediately upon receipt. I have to say I was a bit wary based on some of the reviews but as these were old reviews I was hoping the manufacturer would address the concerns raised in the reviews. The first thing I noticed was that the internal threads weren't always as smooth as they should be. No problem, I ordered a set of 4-48 taps complete with rods.
