As someone who frequently purchases pet supplies I am very disappointed in this product. As my tests showed, the leather is not genuine, and the quality is poor. Although it appears sturdy, it is not durable .My dog tore through it within a week! The only pro I can mention is that it looked nice for the first couple of days, but overall, it is a waste of money. Save your money and look elsewhere for a higher quality product..

This is a high quality leather that seems to last a long time. The brass clip is strong and easily attaches to the pendant. Sewing the "handle" is pretty easy, but it seems to get the job done. I will definitely be buying more leashes from this company for my other dogs. I prefer leather leashes to nylon leashes. They are easy to grab and hold without slipping when a loose dog approaches.
