I'll admit I upgraded a 10x50 that I bought over 25 years ago so it was a real leap forward. Setup was very easy out of the box. I was very impressed with the clarity of the image, very clear at all distances. The range finder was easy to learn and accurate (I tested it at various ranges). I've only had them a few days so haven't had a chance to see them in real field conditions yet, but they're durable and should hold up well. For $99 I think this is a very good buy. This is not my typical idea of binoculars because I have to adjust each eyepiece for each eye, unlike every other one I have by turning a dial in the middle. Binoculars - what you need. I have very bad eyesight. The ability to manually focus each individual eyepiece is what I was looking for. Comfortable to look at. No neck strain when using a tip.
