Not much to say. It fits perfectly with the Altairsoft Xl Marine helmet. Make sure you turn your camera upside down or vice versa so your images are on the right side.

While POV provides more immersion closer to the eyes, it often gets in the way. I have a hard time aiming through my scopes/magnifiers and having a GoPro capturing all of my top vision isn't really a quality of life.

I had to spend half an hour with a drill and utility knife to trim off excess plastic so I could put a screw in the bracket. Without this, the mount was completely useless. I know it's tempting to buy this one because it's cheap, but spend a little more and get something that actually works out of the box.

It's good for the price but there is some wiggle room with installation. Also, because of his length, he has a kink in his arm, so don't be too rough on him. Overall a good product considering the price. You can put a layer of tape on the back/around the mount to ensure a perfect/tight fit.

I wanted to use this to mount my GoPro on the top instead of the bottom which obscures the view. Unfortunately, the triangular (rather than round) shape of the GoPro mount prevents it from properly attaching or moving on the mount. Of course I have a lot of GoPro mount accessories so I could make something ugly but useful. Instead of a single mounting screw with a loop that I have to deal with, I use 3 separate screws and hinge points to make this work.

I bought this together with "Outry Tactical Fast Helmet" and "Nightfox 110R Nightvision Binoculars". This product is NOT suitable for night vision housing. I had to archive it for 15 minutes before it fit, and even then it moved. When I put on the Nightfox 110R binoculars, the night vision device didn't protrude over the edge of the helmet, which made viewing a bit awkward. I couldn't pull the NVG up either - it would only partially fold up.

This product comes with a Go Pro screw and a night vision mount in a clear plastic bag marked "Aoutacc Tactical Helmet Exterior NVG Helmet Base (Black)". in China. There are no instructions. Due to the similarities between the original Go Pro mount, you should know that you screw in from the opposite side of the silver end.
