Six layers, where?. It's made of a very, very thin material, you can see through it, and it's obvious that water seeps in when it rains. When it's sunny, the dust goes away too. Save your money, it's almost like a mosquito net.

It's not six layers as advertised! The cover is a reflective tarpaulin with a very thin layer of polyester. I was expecting something nicer and better just based on the six layered image they advertised.

Perfect fit, not too tight and not too loose. The material is excellent. Great reflectivity. I usually stuff an old little pillow or two under the covers. This adds a layer of space between the cover and the car and keeps the temperature down in hot weather. This one was perfect for that. Very satisfied.

When I first opened this cover I thought THIS WON'T WORK! I have to say this is worth MORE than what I paid for it. I have covered a vehicle that is not in use and this cover is GREAT. A zip on the driver's side allows me to open the door and start the engine so the battery doesn't run out. The case is very durable, just what I was looking for. Great buy for the money and you won't be disappointed.

Edit: Found design flaws. The zip to open the door is fantastic, but the strap that hooks under the car to hold the tarp is on the front doors. Even if you close the door, you still need to detach the strap to open the door. You should have moved on. I ordered the XL because my car is exactly 180cm long and I didn't want to risk it. The lid was poorly made, threads sticking out everywhere. That should have been my tip to get it back right away, but I had to cover up my classic VW Beetle to protect it from the harsh sunlight that prevails 5 months of the year in southern Oregon. The outer silver layer is very thin and does not withstand any stress. The "seat belts" that come with the cover are thin pieces of synthetic fabric. D-rings for attaching belts are cheap metal that bends easily. Perhaps the product will be useful…

We have covers for all our vehicles, trucks, cars, motorcycles and even our caravan! We've had mostly good experiences, but a common experience with all cases we've had so far is the "peeling". The fabric of the cover (used outdoors either in direct weather for our truck and RV or under a canopy) is starting to peel off and removing the cover looks like spring pollen rain. Given the price I was expecting some flaws and after a few situations of using this product I can say I was right. reflects and shields heat, but that's probably not what you're buying a case for. You probably buy it because you want it to be waterproof and you love the idea of a protective case. Does it do these things? Eh Something like that.
