Bought this for my '95 GMC 4x4 1 ton dump truck.

Bought for my 1995 GMC 4x4 1 ton dump truck. This was used to move the part further away from the engine, causing the part to overheat and fail (once a year or more). My mechanic moved the part with this extension and my truck has been running pretty well ever since.

Fits snugly and ensures normal operation.

Properly installed and working. Uses a few channel locks to compress until it clicks into place. It seems that the seal runs evenly around the entire perimeter. I moved the PWD to the cruise control mount next to the ABS computer. It is high up and protected from contact with water.

Pros

Cons
  • Long delivery

Everything worked fine initially but there are problems attaching the connectors on the male or female side, making the truck difficult to start in cold weather and resulting in no pedal reaction. I tried replacing the glow plugs, didn't help, finally someone said to try to bypass this extra PMD. curb. When I did that, the truck restarted easily in cold weather and responded to the pedal immediately. Tried with add. Wiring harness new and it still had the same problems. There is continuity…
