Real loose fit for 2001 Mazda 626

2001 Mazda 626 is a TRUE loose fit. Easy to put on and take off with a little more pressure. No clicking or clicking when installing. I will update this review to 4 or 5 stars if I don't have any issues within 30 days.

Pros
  • Fits some Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Mazda, Plymouth and Suzuki models
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

For mounting this transmission

We really liked it we bought it for the 2001 Ford Escape. The only disappointment is that they didn't include instructions or a link to a video. I ended up watching a video from another company with a similar product and it worked great. Hand dressing is tricky even if you are the Hulk! Use pliers with a square open mouth instead of a needle tip to easily snap the sleeve into place. Recommended for this type of repair.

Pros
  • Fits shifter end
Cons
  • Don't remind me

Good variant/instructions here

Strange, the complete shift cable is from Mazda ic 50.00. But what a hassle with the exchange, so these people make money and we save a lot of time. It doesn't mount with your thumb as shown in the video, I've been a registered mechanic for 32 years, my hands can turn coal into diamonds and I couldn't squeeze it, but I could tell they grounded the lip. before you video there to easily get rid of the illusion lol. Anyway, I just used C-Clamp and it worked like a charm. Installed on a 2002 Mazda…

Pros
  • With this you can repair the shift cable quickly and inexpensively
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared
