If you look at the harness connection, you will see that the top two rails (grey) are opposite the OE (yellow). Another problem is the pinhole. The ordered item (grey) is opposite the (yellow) OE. There's no way of knowing if your annoying trailer brake light problem is related to the dash controller or to this module that fits under the spare tire under your truck. Of course the GMC store charges $500.00 to test this because according to the store's service manager it's really hard to determine. Wow! So it's actually cheaper to swap out parts until the lights go out. I can replace a very large list of parts without spending $500.
