📡 APDTY 028714 Output Speed Sensor for Transmission Review

This sensor fits a 2005 Toyota Highlander but the gears would not shift/shift. The sensor from the Toyota dealer worked perfectly.

Replaced a faulty VSS with a 2005 Camry and the check engine light went out but the car shifted VERY poorly. I ordered a more expensive branded VSS and the switching problems went away immediately.

It said it would fit my 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited but it wasn't even close. It was loose when installed, the car didn't move properly at all (worse than before) and the metal tip looked much smaller than the original part (photos attached). Definitely not for my car. Attention buyers.

For Lexus rx300 '99. After installation, the car drives normally for two hours, then the box goes into emergency mode. Check the engine line, the ABS and traction lights are on, and the scanner showed 11 codes. I put the old sensors back in and the car ran fine. Only the ABS light is on, so I bought it because of the persistent ABS light. I ended up going to the junkyard and grabbed two old speed sensors and the problem was solved. It should fit a 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS. Didn't fit properly as original manufacturer part tried to use but never worked, piece of junk. I ended up buying another one from A-1 Auto Parts for a lot of money that worked and fit properly, this one didn't fully seat in the hole. When I replaced this part with a new part, the o-ring was damaged as it was not seated properly and actually leaked some gear oil due to improper seating.
