I didn't like the product because when picking it up and compressing it with the tool attached, the tan burst and a crack appeared on the side of the sleeve.

They are overpriced but you won't find the bushings they offer at reference brands or others. Works perfect. I have bought many of these sets and can only recommend them.

Not suitable Ford Escape slips through the coffee days. I assumed I installed it wrong, I installed a different one. It also fell off after a few days. Talk to a tech at Ford and he gave me a part number that I can order online for a few dollars and it works great for a few months.

I'm an ASE Auto Tech myself, but didn't have time to fix my wife's Jeep. I bought a bushing and took it to my local Jeep dealership for installation. During installation, the socket fell apart into several parts. Waste of $30 and four days at the dealer waiting for a part.

Inserting the grommet into the cable/gear holder was easy. Unfortunately, the edges of the bushing were cut off when the bushing was pressed onto the gearbox, without the edges the bushing cannot remain installed in the cable/gearbox holder, which makes the part unusable. I went with a genuine Mopar part which is a little longer to get but cheaper and fits perfectly. It's also cheaper, ranging from $6.95 to $11.

Let me do your homework for you. Do not buy this socket. You are buying a jack made out of poor quality plastic and if you can install it without damaging the very fragile soft plastic jack it will not last long.
