Large portable meter

The instrument is well built, incredibly easy to use and has a fast response time. The included carrying case is handy (as are the sample size buffers). The guide is actually very helpful and also in regards to using other sensors, accuracy, cleaning, storage, maintenance, calibration etc. My only guess is that the plastic protection around the glass bulb seems a little flimsy, nothing on my unit did. t break, but it seems like it might be possible.

  • I don't remember but there was something

I went through a few PH meters from Hannah. My biggest issue with Hannah sensors is that replacement sensors are very expensive. I decided that instead of swapping out the temp and pH probes for nearly $100 each, I would just try a new brand. It has three point calibration and reads much faster than the two Hannas I had. The case it came in was also very nice and easy to use solutions while in the case it helped hold solution bottles. Calibration is fairly easy and measuring is a breeze with a…

Absolute crap! - Laboratory instruments and devices

I received two of these devices and a special probe directly from Apera a while ago to compensate for the error problem. It turned out that the expensive probe was not needed. It was the counters themselves that both had the same issue that couldn't be resolved, similar to what others have reported here. We struggled from the start and struggled with them until we put them aside and borrowed Oakton from our sister lab. Eventually I got a call to Apera and they started questioning me and asking…
