Removes chlorine from swimwear

I swim 3 times a week and was looking for a product to remove chlorine from swimwear. After reading reviews of more expensive products, I decided to try this one (although it is intended for aquarium water). This product meets my needs. After a swim I just put 1 capful of this product in the sink of cold water and rinse my swimsuit for a minute or two. No need to rinse. The smell of chlorine is gone from my bathing suit, which I think also means there is no chlorine. Since using this product, I

Good value for money! at Fish & Aquatic Pets

This is a good value for money product. It has kept my 10 year old goldfish alive between tank cleaning and using tap water to clean and refill a 55 gallon tank. After cleaning and refilling, I added the recommended milliliters of this product to remove chlorine from the water. This helped keep my fish active. If you don't add this, you'll see the goldfish sink to the bottom of the tank, become lethargic, and eventually die. You don't want that to happen. Before putting your fish in the…

Summer Solutions Swimwear Replacement

Ok, for the past 3 years I've been using Summer Solutions to help flush out the chlorine smell and better preserve my swim team's kids' suits. I read another review of this product that said they use an API for this purpose. API is 16oz for about $7 vs 8oz SS for about $10 = API is definitely cheaper. In terms of use, I use 1 SS cap each time (not the 2 that are recommended). As for the API, I'm using 1/2 Capfull. I've been using the API for his suits for 3 weeks now and so far so good. The…

No one has died yet

Wow how does that work! Our tap water is so bad it smells like chlorine. I have a 110 gallon fish pond and I change the water frequently. It's amazing - not a single fish died, and I immediately put them back in new water. It's amazing how little of this stuff you need - just follow the simple instructions. This bottle will live forever. My fish is just a goldfish feeder; they are terribly dirty despite my excess filter/pump and so I have to change the water every few weeks. By the way, the…

So far so good for fish and aquatic life

It arrived just in time for my water change day! I was a bit nervous about buying and trying this product. I was really scared by the reviews that people are dying fish. Then I saw some good reviews and also came across a very helpful one that said to add 1 drop per 1 gallon. I have a 5 gallon tank and 5 gallon jugs so I filled them up and added ONE DROP to each 1 gallon jug. It's water change day so I did that step first and then started cleaning the reservoir. That's the solution. Once I'm…

Best value for tap water treatment

I love all API products, especially their easy to use test kits. This product is great too. Regardless of the size of tap water conditioner you buy, these are the most reputable brands that will process all of the tap water for your pond or aquarium. It only takes 3 drops per gallon you add to your tank. It removes chlorine, neutralizes chloramines and helps detoxify heavy metals in tap water. Some more expensive products also contain substances that help fish maintain a protective layer of…
