    Had high hopes for push button switch

    The product was fairly easy to install and worked well for several months. I installed this in the back of my truck near the back door. I could just open the gate, put my hand on the edge of the bed and press the button. This button connects to some LED pucks I installed under my bed rail. The switch wiring runs behind the rear wheel in a recess between the outside of the truck and the body wall. Water enters this space and the like. That's why I bought a waterproof switch.     Good part, here are more details on the LED

    So far so good. The LED wires are isolated from the switch pins and the LED glows in a lounge with just 2.3V and less than 1mA. I'm going to be using LED wires with a 3.3V microcontroller output, and that's what I would call ideal brightness at 3.3V. I don't see the full 1mA to 4V current. At 12V I see 7-8mA. The brightness in a daylight room doesn't change much after you raise the voltage above about 4V. At least in a room with daylight. Switch pins in different ways to show boot/switch…

    Good switch but instructions could be better

    Good reliable switch. Requires a 3/4" mounting hole. You wouldn't want to go much further as the switch body isn't much larger than the threaded part. I hooked mine up to the LED lighting system under the hood of my car. So if you look at the picture, you can see that the red and blue wire goes to the positive wire of my LED lights, I found it easier to connect the wires together, then put a larger heat shrink tube over that, then another smaller heat shrink tube over the positive wire from the
