They were fine until about a month later, infrequent use caused the upper to tear away from the sole leaving a gaping hole near the big toe.

I've seen mixed reviews but I have to say how great they are! My daughter has been wearing them every day since June (it's August) to camping, rocky beaches, kayaking, pools, cement, they haven't worn and haven't worn at all! I definitely recommend it!
