Excellent outdoor waterproof clay

I bought this clay to repair an outdoor fountain statue and it was perfect. Very easy to mix, use and shape.

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

The most versatile product of its kind.

I have used this material for taxidermy detailing, repair and modification of models, and repair and restoration of broken ceramic figurines. Also for individual modifications of original sculptures. The fact that it sticks to most surfaces, liquifies and is water washable makes it an invaluable addition to my art supplies. And it accepts all kinds of colors.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • No Insurance

Easy to use

I used it to fix a few items that broke during a move. It is very easy to work with and cleaning up was great too. Leaves no sticky residue on fingers (washable with water). Works for a long time, but dries poorly. It not only repairs ceramics and porcelain, but also can repair resin products. Resin products are opaque, geopaque type. I definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Slightly Dry

As a potter I sometimes need to repair some of my outdoor creations. In this case I was repairing parts of the garden that had been damaged over the years. I was quite dismayed at the amount of effort required to mix the two part system. The epoxy turned out to be a lot tougher than I expected. However, I was able to use it and the results look good. I have yet to apply paint and see if the epoxy holds. But I'm excited to see what happens next time I open the jars and hope they don't dry out…

Pros
  • Handmade
Cons
  • Damaged

Insanely great product!

Absolutely great product! It's very sticky when wet so you can literally add it to anything (I used it on a project converting a RC car into another shape) and it dries as hard as cement without shrinking or tear! It's a little harder to work with than polymer or ceramic clay (it quickly goes from too sticky for molding, shaping, and detailing to too hard), but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a sticky, air dry clay…

Pros
  • Sound
Cons
  • So far so good
