A/B Testing is a way of testing different versions of a web page or website.

This has been my first experience with A/B testing and is proving quite valuable so far. With some quick thinking, and a little help from a colleague I was able to make a decision to split test my website copy based on how visitors got to the site (via search vs direct). It's been a good learning curve. As long as you're willing to get your hands dirty and have a little patience you'll find yourself rewarded. Pros
  • If you know anything about SQL, then you will be fine.
  • Has a pretty cool visual interface.
  • You can use it to make your own decisions without feeling pressured.
Cons
  • This is a big con because if you're using it to generate recommendations, then you will probably need to create some sort of pivot table, where you would be selecting both variables
  • Data quality issues, I haven't found any yet, but I will keep looking.
  • I've noticed that most tools allow you to change the date format, currency etc

GDPR app permissions on IMessage bots etc. - easy solution for multiple business needs.

This was an easy solution for our business needs as it allowed us greater control of who could see what information within each app from any country/region using GDPR rules! I wish they had some way that we were able create individual profiles with custom permissions which would be great but so far not available? There are other similar platforms out there - this just came along when needed quickly during Covid19 pandemic lockdown at work too where having multiple accounts can become confusing…
