Great buy for a student

Great laptop, very light and great value! The battery drains quickly compared to other Apple products, BUT lasts a day of class. The screen is good quality, the backlit keyboard looks amazing and the sound quality is great! A laptop is about the size of a piece of paper, if not smaller. My laptop has a snap-on sleeve in the photo, but you can see it's still very thin even with the sleeve on.

Apple's forgotten perfect 12-inch MacBook is here!

If you had the 2016 version of this computer, hack it (they are all very fragile) and repair it a second time (oops), the price would be close to the price of this newer refurbished one. my favorite macbook, the new air made me very happy and i first bought it as a replacement for a broken one, but sent it back as soon as it arrived. It was exactly the computer I wanted and at a much lower price!

The impressive OSX Tiny Package - so sad it's been discontinued.

The 12-inch MacBook is Apple's best portable notebook! I love it small, light, super thin - almost as thin as an iPadPro. My iPad gives me the best of both app options: OSX and iOS. While the MacBook isn't powerful enough for video editing and the like, it was more than adequate for almost every other need: browsing, video streaming, email, and more recording with Scrivener. Great Deal on Laptops

About a year ago my wife replaced her 2012 MacBook Pro with an HP laptop. Since then she has been unhappy. We finally bit the bullet and bought her this 12-inch MacBook in mid-2017. It was a great deal. I checked everywhere and none of the respected people came close. It required 512GB of storage and that was by far the best deal. She is very happy, happy wife, happy life.
