Great dome light! Setup is pretty quick and easy, especially when compared to the competition. The suitcase is also a nice addition!

Very good investment

This softbox has greatly improved my videos. It's easy to use and a very good size. Would recommend to anyone who needs a good diffuser for a small space.

A great modifier to complement the Full Size Light Dome II

A great compact light dome that works well in tight spaces or when a large softbox is not required. Goes great with 300d II or 120d II and I'm sure it will work great with other Bowens mounts. It appears to be well made and should withstand wear and tear from use in the studio or in the field.

Good quality but no light

This product is just a pre made stand that DOES NOT GIVE ANY LIGHT. Or at least I didn't get any. I won't be returning it because I love that the stand is so portable, but the light compatible with this dome opening stand is expensive. So unless you're buying the light separately, know that this stand doesn't bring it. Otherwise the freestanding product is a great product, I just find the description, title and pictures misleading.

It works fine, but it's not that easy to assemble, maybe I'm just inexperienced?

The Aputure 300X has done an excellent job of home production. Gave a really soft light and was especially nice with the 300X fire preset. It was a little awkward to put on the first time and it doesn't look as easy as advertised, so we'll see - maybe we just need more practice? For now it's staying open in our pantry so we don't have to put it back in next time.

Easy to install, good workmanship

Very easy assembly and high-quality materials. This is important for both time and durability. I've personally seen cheap mesh turn to dust after a few years. When setting up a light shaper, the simpler the better - less time is wasted. To open, simply snap the poles into their extended position. A lever switch on the back frees each rod for folding and storage. The velcro attaches an internal reflector at 4 points with strips at the ends larger than necessary to compensate for possibleโ€ฆ
