AQUA Ceramic Bonsai Stone Large Review

The first delivery was in pieces due to the packaging (or sloppy delivery) and I lowered the rating. The second shipment made it and I love the planter. Plan to combine it with a field of large and small lava rocks.

Order large. It arrived much earlier than expected! (: I really like this idea and design for planting live plants in my natural freshwater aquarium. Although the color is not as dark as I was hoping. Will update the pics in the water. as soon as I get new plants!

I love this thing! I wish it was a bit bigger but I can't complain that much. It's nicely open at the bottom, so I filled it with 1/2 tablet of plant food and plant substrate. I love the layered effect that comes with multiple heights!

They are all of good quality! This one is no exception. In case you're wondering, it's all a "tunnel" from the hole at the top to the hole at the bottom, so it's impossible to fill one with gravel without filling them all. The top tapers to the bottom of the first "stone" but I think you can see it in the photos.

I bought both the small and the large version. The small version doesn't have 2 holes as in the picture, only 1. I like these little things but wish they were exactly what they show. If you want something with 2 plant locations (or whatever you want to put in it) then this isn't for you. Luckily 1 opening was fine for my needs so I didn't return it. I just wish they would say so and not misadvertise.
