I switched to AquaClear three years ago and haven't used anything else since. They have worked wonders for my 75 gallon tank and Biomax is no exception. Aquaclear is a must!

Excellent biomaterial for your filter system. We've been using the same box for over 4 years and it's still holding up great. I only rinse out half of the Biomax when I clean the filter. You don't have to replace them. Simply rinse with used aquarium water and they are ready for use again.

I was surprised it had 2 bags - AquaClear size 70. Thought I was getting the typical Biomax 110 which comes in a mesh bag. The high throughput of the AquaClear 110 filter continues to flush the Biomax bags out of the filter. I have to weigh them down under the charcoal bag to secure it in the filter.

To keep the good bacteria in your aquarium, this item is a must have for your HOB filter. It was easy to use. Simply place the bags on the AquaClear filter. There is literally no need to flush other than the occasional stale aquarium water when changing the water. Quick and easy to use. Fits perfectly in A/C 110, no mess, no fuss. I started with regular filter media which didn't work for me and after 5 weeks my tank showed no signs of cycle completion and no good bacteria to fight ammonia and nitrite. I added this pack and the Aquaclear brand sponge instead of the regular carry case I was using. I've had it for 3 weeks and my tank finally got into a loop - its interface helped the process a lot.
