Aqua One Plant Weight 10 Review

These weights are great! My plants stay at the bottom of the tank and I don't have to worry about them floating up and then damaging their roots and stems every time I have to push them back into the substrate. They can also be cut in half if you don't need the full length.

You have made my life with my aquarium so much easier. It really helps to write down my plans that have rhizomes and can't be put in the substrate. Of course you can always superglue them to your driftwood or rocks, but I can't decide and I'm happy to slide them back and forth.

I had a standing pen stand that was not heavy enough to stay upright when a medium weight pen was placed on the stand. These lead strips fit easily into the bottom of the base where I glued them and this added weight gave the base more than enough weight to hold each of my pens in place and upright.

I know it's about six bucks and I should have known but they come back. What's in the actual HECK? Keep out of the reach of children, but hey, the fish isn't that tender! I needed something to weigh down the plants in my axolotl aquarium instead of tying them to rocks with cotton string. These animals ingest EVERYTHING through their skin. News? um No thank you.

Lately I've been getting more serious about maintaining a freshwater tank and part of that is gradually adding live plants instead of artificial ones. They say it's better for the aquarium. The product was clearly opened (not torn but cut with a knife/scissors), all lead weights fell out of the packaging. 20% were missing. I was hoping I could get a few more, but Revain just let me return them all for a full replacement. It would completely ruin my work on my aquarium, waiting for repairs for days, sending an unnecessary package and wasting money.
