Excellent Electric Water Purifier

I recently purchased an electric water purifier in the Filtration category and have been extremely happy with it. As my tests showed, the unit improves water quality and taste significantly. It is also very easy to install and use. The only downside is that it falls under the Industrial and Scientific category, but I can see why that might be necessary for such a powerful purifier. Overall, an excellent investment for clean and delicious water.

Pros
  • Reduces limescale buildup in water heaters and pipes, extending their lifespan.
Cons
  • Requires electricity to operate, which can increase energy costs.

Essential in water softeners

The Aqua Rex has only been in my house for a few weeks. I used to have a traditional water softener that required Lowe salt bags. Now I'm getting the same benefits and I don't notice any difference other than the rough mucus feeling that's gone. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after the first week I was impressed. I no longer have to clean all the shower heads and faucets. I don't have white spots like I used to. Thanks guys, very impressed.

Pros
  • Kitchen and bathroom accessories
Cons
  • Damaged

Removes scale from a water heater

At first I doubted it would work but it actually removed a lot of scale from a water heater and saved me thousands of dollars. Heaters are 13 years old and have not been flushed (descaled) for at least 5 years. I wanted to decalcify them with vinegar, but all the installers said there's a good chance a hole in the heat exchanger will be exposed because the limescale has probably already eaten through the pipe. They charged $600 for full maintenance on both, but couldn't guarantee they wouldn't…

Pros
  • Water filtration and softening
Cons
  • Something else
