Aqua Sphere Webbed Gloves Large Review

Bought for pool use after rotator cuff surgery. The gloves offer the perfect resistance to strengthen the shoulder. The therapist provided, but I wanted my own because so many others were using them. Mine ruptured after my 2nd PT session. Not bad but I was disappointed that I stopped using it before it started to tear.

Based on other customers' comments, I ordered a medium women's size. They are very big. I'd rather see actual glove sizes than subjective small-medium-large. I wear size 6 gloves so I guess I should have known. However, they are great for adding resistance and thereby building muscle when swimming or exercising in the water. I like the price and the quality and I would buy again and order the small size next time.

I bought these three years ago and recently they started to wear out and the velcro didn't hold up. I use them a lot so I'm surprised they've held up so well! I tried speedo and another brand when deciding to buy a new pair and the other brands didn't fit and the speedo also gave off a horrible chemical smell. I sent the others back and ordered these. I can't believe how easy it was to get these gloves. I tried swimming or aqua aerobics, but I got bored. I went to a local swimming club and took their aqua aerobics class and they recommended gloves. Wow what a great addition to my technique. Unfortunately I'm disappointed with these gloves. Bought this product a month ago for my 12 year old daughter. She used it maybe 10-15 times and the right glove had already fallen apart. The gum has peeled off and the material is now peeling off. The left glove holds as I had hoped. I bought these gloves because I thought they would last longer and offer more resistance for water aerobics. Wrong on both counts. The "hold longer” clause is particularly bad. I rinse them out and let them air dry after each use. These gloves started tearing in my hands the second time I put them on in the pool. Excellent. I've tried at least 3 pairs of swim gloves and they never fit me. They completely cover my hand and especially my wrist. I recently tore a ligament in my left wrist and these gloves help keep it stable. But even without wrist issues, these are the best gloves I've ever bought.
