It definitely feels warm/hot when it's on 24/7. The manual mentions that "it shouldn't be on all the time". I don't understand this part. Why would anyone turn off the pump in the pond? I wore mine non-stop for 30 days. Also said not to get wet. So I put a plastic box on top since it's outside and we have snow.

So far, so good! I love my air pump. It's more of a commercial grade and I use it outside so noise level isn't an issue. Seems powerful enough to oxygenate about 400 gallons with no problems. I would recommend this product as it offers excellent air for money. I use solar energy to oxygenate my aquariums so it is important that I have an efficient pump.

I recently installed this 4000 gallon pond and about a week after it turned green I have about 50 koi. After trying every possible treatment it helped a bit but I still couldn't see my fish! After three days of using it, I can see a huge difference! Let's see how long this lasts. But so far I'm thrilled! I just added a video 7 days after my pond was crystal clear would definitely recommend this product

I ordered this pump and it worked less than five minutes and overheated. I tried again after it cooled down and only worked for a minute. I got a replacement and the new pump worked for about three hours and then stopped. The product was not up to the standard I needed it for. It worked fine at first, then didn't squeeze the air I needed for what I needed. I have to say it was a quiet pump because it worked a little.

After reading the reviews on this pump I was reluctant to order but did it anyway. I use this as air support for my laser and it works great. Do you hear a buzzing sound when you work? Yes. But nothing as loud as other reviewers have stated and I had no trouble heating it up even after running it for 8-10 hours straight. Maybe I got a good one? I do not know. But I haven't had any problems with it and use it every day for at least 8 hours at a time.

Took literally 10 minutes! I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing! . I had two separate lines that went to two tanks. One with a large attached rock and the other with a 10" 1/4" pipe ring with several nail sized holes pierced. Lasted 10 minutes and died. Do not buy! The instructions were full of spelling and grammatical errors. I don't know if that indicates poor quality, but to me it's a bad sign. hope i get my money back
