Not just for humans.

I bought this for a slightly unusual need: my English bulldog gets dry, cracked skin around the nostrils. I've tried other creams and ointments including vet recommended ones but for some reason my bulldog doesn't tolerate them - he just rubs on the closest soft material he can find (often my pants!) where it came from. To my surprise, Aquaphor doesn't - it tolerates it well and it improves skin condition tremendously. In just a few weeks, his skin improved dramatically thanks to Aquaphor.

SUITABLE for dry skin caused by chemotherapy

My wife is undergoing ongoing chemotherapy for breast cancer and will continue to take oral medications as long as they keep the cancer at bay. One of the side effects of the drug is "hand-foot syndrome" in which the palms and soles become very red, become sore, peel off, tear, etc. Recently, she began liberally using AQUAPHOR on her hands and feet, pulling then plastic gloves on, and legs in zippered pockets, and then socks to hold the pockets. Within 10 days her arms and legs were noticeably…

Very good for dry skin!

After going to the dermatologist, my doctor advised me to use this lotion as a regular lotion. I used to use this for dry spots and sores, but never for everything. I have very dry skin and since using it regularly as an after shower cream/lotion my skin looks and feels so much better. It's like a protective layer, especially at night when I'm usually prone to itching. Always thought it was too thick, but it works. I usually wait a few minutes before getting dressed after applying it and it's…

It's not just petroleum jelly!

This is the #1 moisture barrier recommended by dermatologists. It really helps relieve dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. It may look and feel like petroleum jelly, but it's so much better: It's super easy to massage in and quickly removes all the oil, leaving it smooth and soft and keeping skin hydrated. It may seem expensive, but a jar lasts a very long time. . Like the old Brylcreem ad, "Dab a little and I'll do it!" I'm still on my first jar of daily use in over a year! Also, I recommend this…

Not a fake as of 20th July

I have been using Aquaphor for many years due to severe dry skin in winter so I know how it has always looked and it has always had a slight yellowish cast to it. The one I got at Walmart in February 2020 is the same one I bought at Revain 7/20, identical. I had to open it after seeing the 1 star reviews. Rest assured it's the same. And there is no burning even when I put it on my privates, both have been tested. Yes it's sticky, sticky etc, just use an extra thin layer and you won't get soaked

  • Durable test results

Better than regular lotions.

I didn't expect the ointment to look like petroleum jelly. Not that it's bad. I was just surprised. It's made from petroleum (I found out by reading the ingredients). But it also has lanolin and a few other ingredients. So it seems to work better than petroleum jelly. I've been using it almost daily for a few days. I even used it on my lips and the heels of my feet. I love how it keeps my feet healthy in the sun. Because it contains oil, it looks wet. I have very dry skin. I have always. But it

Update 11.10.2016 *A little is enough!*

A few years ago I had an operation that left my foot scarred, dry and calloused, mainly because there are a lot of metal plates now , wires and screws that hold the bones together, which in turn causes the skin to feel numb to the touch. I've tried, soaked and filed countless products to at least try to cure some severe dryness that sometimes tears and bleeds to no avail. So recently I was looking for something or an idea to help with this problem when I came across Aquaphor. I thought: oh yes,
