Beautiful river rocks!

These beautiful stones are exactly what I wanted. They were clean and some were shiny. The bottom of our aquarium is perfect.

Fairly well polished stones.

I ordered 4 pieces for the garden and other handicrafts. He's pretty shiny. I have a problem that some of them are in bad condition and there were some chips but also dents but other than that it's a good price for the amount you get.

The stones are beautiful,

I liked everything about these stones. The tank looks clean and is much easier to keep clean. Words are not enough to describe how much better my tank looks. Love them, an 18 lb sack with some colored gravel in my 55 gallon tank was enough to keep it looking natural.

Nice. Ideal for 20 gallon tank

Aqueon 20 gallon tank. Beautiful polished stones! I removed all the broken bricks which was maybe 3. Not bad. I rinsed them all out before putting them in a 20 gallon tank. 1 bag filled the bottom perfectly. The depth of the tank is approximately 2 inches. These stones are wonderful. Cheaper than local pet stores. Another 100% reliable purchase on Amazon!

Better than expected

Before ordering this product I decided to read the reviews and ask questions. I didn't know if it was enough to buy one so I ordered two. Well I have to say it's better than expected. They're quite large, which is what I wanted, easy to clean, and don't cloud the water which usually happens with gravel. Also, I only used one bag. Now I can use the other one for other projects. Delivery even a day earlier, so that's a plus. Thank you!

Lucky fish, lucky man!

Let's start with the disadvantages, because there is only one of them: these are river stones. You can get them for free. PROS: - Nice addition to my aquarium - Fish love them - They cover my airstones without impeding flow - Very easy to clean A few notes: The standard rule of 1 lb per gallon -> 1 lb of substrate per gallon of water applies ( 10 gallon aquarium = 10 pounds of substrate). There are several ways to clean the substrate - boiling, baking, or (like I did because they are large)โ€ฆ

Good stones, but need to be cleaned a bit before putting them into the aquarium

I like these stones very much. I used them in my aquarium. These are larger (1 to 2 inch) stones. They have a nice smooth sheen. I would say these are not real river stones. I collect rocks and I have some real river rocks that look more like they came from a rock fall than were smoothed by the river. I've done acrobatics myself, so I'm very familiar with the process. If you take the time to feel the stones, they have a slippery coating that was likely polished by the tumbling process. If youโ€ฆ
