    long game! Very important!

    This is a continuation of the review. After using these socks for a year and a month I am buying a new pack. They hold up great and none have come loose from the washing machine. I soak them in a bucket of water before washing. They still work fine, but some of the filter material is starting to come loose. I have no complaints after a year of washing and use. I will buy a few more because of the exceptional quality and value.

    Perfect product, great service

    Perfect product, great service and cheap enough to replace as often as needed. I put two in a tray and change each week. I wash them in the washing machine (without soap) and change 2 pairs like this for about 4 months. I ended up ordering 2 more pairs as the originals looked a bit worse. Second hand. I'm sure they could keep working for a few more months if I wanted to.

    Buy the best brand!

    This product comes with broken and cracked rings. You can see in the first two photos that instead of a solid ring, they just used a broken one. In her defense, not all were like that. My other aquariums that I bought in the online shop have thicker and more durable rings. The last photo shows a big difference between my old ones and the new ones I got from Aquatic Experts. I will no longer buy from them.

    Clogs Quickly: Filter Accessory

    Bought these for my 150 gallon saltwater tank. Arrived quickly, good price, well made. This is a mistake. They clog completely within 24 hours and severely restrict water flow and I only use a filter sock in a double flush refugium. My longer filters last 3 to 4 days before clogging. I also have an FX4 canister filter in my aquarium. to my sanctuary so that it has very clear water without algae. I wouldn't buy them for more than 75 liters. They're also more difficult to clean than longer ones…

    Really good job, crystal clear water!

    Works great. I finally managed to add a sump to my 2 year old reef tank and bought these filter socks. At first I had canister filters and was afraid that the water would no longer be crystal clear. I've never had cleaner, clearer water with these socks. They do a really good job of removing small particles from the tank. I wore socks the first day, by the end of the day they were full. After about 2-3 days after doing this and cleaning (by just rinsing them in the sink) they will last a good 2

    Just buy The Great Filters

    UPDATE: 10/10 recommend to everyone! These filters have lasted longer than the filters I have received from other aquarium suppliers, are the easiest to clean, always bounce back to white and filter the aquarium water easily. I use bleach to wash them which can wear down the fabric and I can honestly say that after months of use and cleaning these filters have not deteriorated one bit.
