I have purchased these socks many times for my 125 gallon saltwater aquarium. I sent them back because they were a lot thinner than others I've bought before. They showed 200 microns but looked like 100 microns. You gave me the money back.

Of all the filter socks I've tried with my pan, these are the best. They are durable (this is the second pack I've bought and this is to add extra filters to my rotation, not as a replacement. I still have all the filters from my first purchase). depending on the degree of pollution. I have fish every 4-5 days that start to clog and overflow through the top of the sock. When that happens I change them, pull the dirty ones inside out and shake off the accumulated algae/debris with a sink sprayer

At first glance I thought the fabric was average, not the best but far from the worst. But the stitching is so much better than what I've seen on many others that I was impressed. No unraveling ends. Should withstand many washes. However, after a full wash in HOT water, I tried them in the bowl. Something strange with the fabric - it seems that it repels water and doesn't get wet.
