Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridge Large Review

I use 2 large filters in my 65 gallon aquarium, they work efficiently and help to remove and clean the aquarium well, wash them several times for future use, this is a great product excellent value. Scott

My fish love it, swap them out for double filters every week so I use a lot of these and going to the pet store is expensive and you can only buy 3 or 6 packs. Only here you can get 24 at once.

I had one that came with my new tank and only lasted about nine months so no I wouldn't recommend them. I would recommend this one in a whisper which way is better and easier to use

I've been using these in my aquariums for years and they do the job. I have over filtration (I have a canister filter plus a 75 gallon top filter) and this is affecting the cleanliness of the fish in my 75 gallon aquarium. They hold up well and catch a lot of dirt.

Very easy to use. I use them with an Aqueon pump in a large open container that I have guppies and taro plants in. With this setting, the filters clog quickly and are very difficult to clean. Aqueon recommends recycling used ones, but that's too expensive. Might work better in a smaller space without live plants, but that's not my choice. I wash them in water with Dawn dish soap. Sometimes I add Clorox to kill the algae that stick to the filters.
