Just bought a second pair for wife, seamstress and quilter. Good sharp point for cutting and prying large numbers of thin objects. I'm not happy with keeping them open (because of the spring) but I made some loops to keep them closed. Anyone who needs something sharp to cut things like plastic, staples, thin wire can use these pliers well.

I have some little pliers to do a lot of chores around the house: opening those impossible plastic bags that groceries come in (these pliers are easy to take out of the packaging, thank God!) ; Cutting the plastic that attaches labels to products, cutting thin wire, cutting the ends of flower stems, and any number of arts and crafts projects. The handles have a rubber grip that's comfortable and (so far) doesn't roll when squeezed. They could spend a lot more but they are perfect for my use and

I bought Arayker Diagonal Cutters to replace my old 5" Diagonal Cutters.
