Not even close to worth your money!

I lost my first one when I first used it because a cheap clip wouldn't stay on my belt. I bought a second one because I have table tennis rackets with a sensor. This technology misses too many hits and is difficult to set up on the track. Now I use the Swing U app to count and even track strokes. It's FREE and even more manual, works way better!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So far so good

Works very well - MUST have sensors

I was skeptical about this unit when I bought it and although the plastic is a little cheap I would say its a MUST if you have Arccos sensors. I couldn't imagine playing with an iPhone in my pocket and this little device gives me the freedom not to. It also works very well and rarely misses. There were a few sync issues early in the round, but just do it outside of your GPS golf cart and it works great. If you have Arccos sensors I highly recommend buying this device.

kept trying but gave up

I haven't had much luck and didn't like using my phone while playing golf so I thought let's get a belt clip and see if that makes things easier. after about 10-12 laps, not a single lap was recorded correctly or even nearly completely. On average, this device actually takes about 40 out of 90 pictures. It's hardly worth it. I have to edit each round or spend about 5 minutes per hole while playing golf fumbling with the app. Nothing I want to do while playing golf. good idea but just doesn't…

Only worked about 50% and does not pick up any chips

Assembly was relatively simple. The product just doesn't work. Technical understanding on a scale from one to ten. I'm at 7. I put my phone in my front pocket for the first round of use with all the settings on my phone as instructed. Finished the first hole and arccos gave me a one on one on a par 4 that scared me. Tried the next few holes to no avail. I went home and re-read the instructions and the next round I removed the cover from the phone thinking it was interfering with the mic and…

Duffer's best friend

I bought a new set of pings that came with the arccos sensors. To use them you have to carry your smartphone with you and that seemed a bit cumbersome to me so I bought an Arccos Caddy which allows me to clip a small sensor to my belt instead of carrying a smartphone. i love the system I finally know how far I hit my clubs. It works great and offers club selection options after about five rounds. Having only had it for a few weeks I can't tell if it will lower my handicap or not but it looks…

Pros
  • It's okay!
Cons
  • Somewhat serviceable

I really wanted this to work

I have several Cobra racquets with sensors in the grip and other sensors for other Arccos racquets. I have a new Motorola phone that doesn't seem to be able to pick up the frequencies from the sensor, so I had to buy a link to get the right mic. I probably would have bought it anyway, just so I wouldn't have to carry my phone in my pocket. Played 4 or 5 rounds while emailing support and trying two different link modules. Missed about 50% of shots in all conditions. Same problems for all sensors

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Poor design of GPS, finders and accessories

Poor design of belt clip. In time you will lose it. I bought this and couldn't get it to start the lap on the first try. I was on a new course and figured I'd take care of that later but left it clipped to my belt along with a zip attached to my belt loop for backup. He was gone on the 12th hole. Luckily he was found and brought back to the clubhouse. There is no way to securely fasten this without altering the clip and once altered it cannot be returned. Honestly I'm scared to even take it and
