Safety first good for safety

My dad is a welder and he needs this hat to wear under his hat for protection. I'm happy to say the mechanism worked and I'm glad I know where to get it. Because they are hard to find in stores. I will order this item several times.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • suitable

This allows for a tighter fit.

This allows for a closer fit for bevel welding. I added a "square" Black Stallion HB Split Cowhide Welding on top of my welding helmets to protect the top of my head. My XL head and hat was too thick for other helmet headbands.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • No Instructions

Plastic rivets are not my favorite.

Fits very well. And he has a good system of adjusting to the head. The only drawback are the plastic screws with which the headgear is attached to the helmet. If you try to tighten it too much it will break. So now I either have to find replacement bolts or get a whole new gear head.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Useless! Good for Safety

This is the fourth ArcOne headgear I have purchased in two years of owning their helmet for $263. Day; sometimes you have to wait months for the next project. When the third one broke and I went back to the welding supplies store I found that they no longer sell this manufacturer's product for this particular reason. The header just isn't durable. The one I got from Revain broke when I put it on my helmet! I contacted ArcOne over a week ago and they still haven't responded so I threw the helmet

Pros
  • Great for Me
Cons
  • -

What I didn't like about this hat is that it broke in less than a month and I can't return the product as the return window is closed. I had to spend the extra money on a quality Miller headgear that I know can easily last 10+ years.

Pros
  • Headband absorbs sweat and provides comfort to the wearer
Cons
  • Can't remember

Garbage product in personal protective equipment

Absolute garbage. Looks cheap, feels cheap, cheaply made. The screws that screw into the handles that attach the headgear to the hood are plastic, so it's only a matter of time before they break. If you have a big head or like wearing hats when you're welding, forget this product as it doesn't open very wide like other viking and miller hats I've worn. Save money and buy something that really lasts.

Pros
  • Headgear is easily adjustable
Cons
  • No machine gun

Fits better than the one on the helmet

My dog did it again! I love this dog, but he tests my patience from time to time. He was chewing on my motorcycle helmet a while ago and now he just finished a hat for my welding helmet. It's funny, but apart from teeth marks in several places, he only damaged the headdress. So this helmet is from Harbor Freight. Not expensive but does the job (especially considering the price). As with most port freight products, spare parts are not available. But I really didn't want to buy a new one as I…

Pros
  • replacement welding helmet
Cons
  • unreliable
