At maximum speed, any 12cm fan is noisy, you need to lower it with reobass or PWM, but this one has noise only from the air, without any overtones from the motor. There are almost no vibrations.

I ordered eight of these to fit in the top of the Thermaltake Core X9, unfortunately after installing the fans it turned out that three of the fans were broken. The fans snapped at the attachment point on the inner shaft, rendering it unusable. I have requested an RMA from their support and will update when the process is complete.
