Do not forget about the impact that all sorts of gratings, nets and other holes through which the air flow passes. This is including them, like a wind musical instrument, they create all sorts of noise that tires us so much. Whereas the valve connected outside the system unit is absolutely inaudible. Especially if it's a fan from Arctic Cooling. I changed all the valves in the system unit and added additional valves from this company. And to exclude vibration transmitted to the case, do not…

    Pros
    • Very quiet fans. Large air flow. Low vibration.
    Cons
    • The wires are thin. But this has not affected the operation of the fans in the past few years.

I put it in the power supply, and at first I was upset by the noise, a little quieter than the ancient standard fan. I thought about a replacement, but gradually delved into the essence of the matter. There are no temperature sensors in the PSU, and the fan was spinning at full speed (according to the passport 1350 rpm, according to Aida64 - up to 1440), while the main noise, kmk, was not from the engine, but from the fan blades. I installed the ASUS Fan Expert utility to control the rotation…

    Pros
    • Duet.
    Cons
    • It seems to me that for rolling bearings and its price it could be quieter and at full speed (see below)

Three out of eight arrived broken.

I ordered eight of these to fit in the top of the Thermaltake Core X9, unfortunately after installing the fans it turned out that three of the fans were broken. The fans snapped at the attachment point on the inner shaft, rendering it unusable. I have requested an RMA from their support and will update when the process is complete. UPDATE After I contacted ARCTIC support, they sent me replacement fans with no problem. Because of the product support, I would buy them again at any time.

    120mm Ball Bearing PWM Fan

Very impressive fans for the price. Large air volume for its size with a comparatively low noise level. I bought eight of these (Obsidian 900d cabinets) for my new build and they are almost inaudible. Of course, they are all connected to my motherboard's PWM signal, so they have a low duty cycle most of the time. But even while the P95 was running on three cores plus Furmark (the GPU is also water-cooled), they didn't have any cooling issues. I really wanted a ball bearing fan because three of…

It works great and I can drive with it. . .

Works great and I can control it with some software for this purpose too. I will buy next. But this arctic fan works very well, the speed is controlled by software [it's a 4-pin PWM]. I might buy another fan next time, but I would recommend this one, it's a good fan, it's only $13.02. and it works great.

I am very happy with these fans and have bought 6 more of them.

runs quietly even at 100% and should last longer than the rest of my computers, I am very satisfied with these fans and have already bought 6 other different sizes. "Japanese ball bearings and grease" is a big selling point, these fans should be extremely durable compared to any type of sleeve/trunnion/"liquid" fan. Even if other manufacturers advertise material about their slide bearing technology or "liquid bearing", this is a cost-saving measure compared to using high-quality branded ball…

    Amazing, just amazing.

I can't say these are the best fans for the money because I don't want to spend more than $15 on a fan. I can say these are the best fans I have ever bought for $10. 2nd place after the $8 Arctic Black & White version. Quiet, even blowing of air through the H80i. Static pressure is less important to me than fans that whine or whirr. Corsair fans drove me crazy. I can barely hear any air movement when these Arctic fans are set to power, and conversely, Corsair fans had a harmonic wave of…

ARCTIC fans fan. on fans and cooling

I've had 4 AF12025 PWM 120mm in my Core i7-920 build case since July 2008 - never a problem! This seems to be the closest model to replace what I had. I just rebuilt my system with a Core i5-6600K setup in a SilverStone case. The fans I had were fine, but with rerouting all the wiring and taking apart that much, I figured I might as well replace all the fans. I also bought an ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 for the processor. Although the old fans were silent, it's hard to tell if the computer is…

    Arctic F12 PWM PST Test

Sorry for the generic name but I hate how Revain groups their reviews for tech. I connected it via a CPU fan, which is a bit strange to me, but I don't swap computer parts too often to know the industry standard. I didn't know what PWM PST was when I bought it, but I believe it has something to do with the fan speed change, so it doesn't always run at full power. The only thing that worries me is that when I bought the product, the fan blades are a different shade. than advertised, but I don't…

    Great fans, highly recommend.

Great fans. I bought two to replace the old NZXT fans I had. They weren't necessarily bad, but they were getting old, had low RPMs, and I decided on something better to keep my computer running 24/7. Replaced front and side fans with these. I also bought a 140mm for a second exhaust fan as I had an empty vent that had room for one. Since I added these 3 fans, my computer's temperature has dropped significantly and it doesn't get as hot as it used to when playing heavy games. . I average 18…
