Good boots but a little tighter than expected

These boots seem a little tighter than expected for boots. I ordered a youth size 6 but usually wear a women's size 7.5W. They are very comfortable on my feet despite essentially being a women's size 8. The back heel hurt painfully when I was walking the dog - snow fell on us last weekend, and the melted snow turned into ice. I also noticed that if I stepped on snow/ice long enough, I felt like my toe was a little wet. I'm not sure if it's not properly protected from water. I bought them to run

Good for the price

Admittedly, our kids are picky about clothes. The boots were worn EVERY DAY for 31/3 months. We bought several pairs and they wore different ones for each baby. Some of the things that are: they tend to retain moisture inside like waterproof shoes and as a result not everything is as warm as announced. About -10 feet cools down fairly quickly, about 20 minutes outside. The soles are beginning to sag, as are the seams. I think the boots will last until spring at this point. Kids will use them as

Dude, I'm disappointed that I have to write this. I first bought Arcric Shield boots a winter or two ago. We were avid waders and mud boot lovers but with four kids the price was high unless you could find quality used boots. I was thrilled to find these double rooms at half price!
