Arctix Cyclops Insulated Jacket Orange - Stylish and Functional Boy's Clothing and Jackets & Coats Review

This is a great winter jacket. It is light and yet very, very warm. It has a nice lining and the outer layer is very wind and water resistant. It is true to size and my child can easily zip/unzip it unaided but the zip stays in place when you want it. The hood is good, not as good as I expected, but overall that's my only complaint. Otherwise super warm, well sewn, great wash!

I ordered this for my 7 year old and he loves it, he told me he sweats a little in the playground so I think this price does the job and keeps him warm. It seems to be holding up surprisingly well, my son has a very hard time carrying all of his clothes. He zipped up his Spiderman coat in 2 weeks last year, but this coat has held up pretty well. It's yellow, so it gets dirty easily, but you can wash it in the washing machine without any problems 👍

This Arctix insulation jacket is really very good, perfect for this winter season and many more after that. (perfect handmade down jacket for many years) You can really feel the quality, nice and thick to keep warm; but still light enough that the child won't complain about the weight when carrying or wearing it. Our son has a sensory processing disorder and finds it difficult to find a comfortable fit. Highlights for him: loose, comfortable on the wrist, no problem with the seams, long enough on the sleeves, pockets. Cozy warm and light at the same time.

I have twins and ordered 2 in the same style, different colors and the same size. These are on one of my sons. Remember that both are the same size and worn by the same child. I really liked the yellow, and then came the blue. 4

As per other reviews, the zipper on this coat sucks. Everyone catches him. lonely. Time. Now the hole is me trying to pry the fabric out of the zipper teeth. Warm? Yes. Nice coat? Yes. Functional? No.

The balaclava is sewn into the hand at an angle. There is no hole for a hand to reach through. I had to disassemble and repair. Otherwise it's a good coat. I would send them back but they are no longer the color I want.

I really like the colors of this jacket. I had an 8 year old who wears a size 7 or 8 trying this jacket on and the medium fits well. The sleeves were quite long and generally fitted well. It is light but well lined and warm. It is also water-repellent, water rolls off the jacket and does not penetrate. I live in Illinois and this jacket is perfect for cold winter days.

I bought this big one for my little one. We roll up our sleeves, which actually works great because they partially cover his arms and keep them warm when he takes off his mittens. Haven't tried it in the snow yet, but we've run in 30 degrees and it's always toasty. Not bulky and easy to layer. Solid Lightning. Really great buy for the money!

The color is good. Not isolated at all, say from -20 to 35 degrees. But the child freezes at 40 degrees. He is very thin. Not good. All that money for disappointment. Don't buy yourself

We've only had this coat for 2 months and the zipper is completely broken. This is irreparable. It's not even the coldest time of the season so now I have to buy another coat! Spend your money elsewhere!

I bought 4t for a child of 3.5 years. He can wear it now and maybe next year. He loves to. Zip pockets are a must when skiing! Limited insulation!

Completely satisfied with this product. The winter season just ended. Keeps you warm and dry, easy to clean. He wears it over his winter trousers when there is a lot of snow or just outside on a cold day. Would definitely buy again if it's still around when it's big.

I particularly like the bright orange color, which is a nice security feature. The fabric quality is thick and durable. Withstand any load. Fairly thick insulation that warms the child in cold weather. Good outside pockets with zips. Good built-in hood. The cuffs are attached with Velcro.

This jacket is nice and warm! I'm a medium size for my son who wears a medium shirt and it fits perfectly. The jacket is light and still warm. As with all garments, I washed them before use and they have held up very well. My son loves wearing it!

My daughter loves the color. The jacket looks bulky at first glance, but it's actually a bit thin. I don't know how it will survive the Florida winter. The only real problem is that flashes are hard to minimize. I applied some wax to help. The child is still difficult to buckle up.

This is a great boys coat for winter sports or general use and is definitely thick and very warm. It was washed well upon arrival and I have tumble dried it with no loss of color or damage. It is true to size and the zipper is easy to put on. My favorite feature of this jacket is the bright orange color! It's very easy to see my son going home or to the park!
