For this money it is worth it.

The image quality is just what I needed for this project. It would be nice if there was an Arduino library for this to make things easier.

Nice cheap camera! But remember this is a cheap camera.

Works well as a backup webcam or from another angle. Image quality (dynamic range in particular) isn't amazing, although it can be tweaked to look satisfactory using standard UVC webcam drivers. With a little care with the lighting, this is perfectly adequate for video conferencing.

Issues Computers and Accessories

Great picture but the picture doesn't display properly when using Yawcam which I use for the website. Appears correctly when using AMCap software.

Works well, you need good light

Works well. You need a bright enough light to get a good picture. The application specified in the instructions has many settings and functions. Using the zoom works well, but the camera needs to be a meter away to get a good sized image.

Excellent 8MP Camera in Audio & Video Accessories

Excellent 8MP Camera! Using the sensor without a lens for imaging. Although the dynamic range is not very large. Many settings are adjustable, including exposure and white balance. You can't win at this price.
