Upgraded: 1. Increase the quality of bracket; 2. Customize a smaller board which can be enclosed in the base; 3. Extend the vertical rotation angle from 145 degree to 180 degree. Pan Tilt Kit: Free panning and tilting in a smaller PT bracket. Specifically designed for a broader view on Raspberry Pi camera projects, can also be used on Jetson NX and other platforms (RPi demo only). Customized Control Board: I2C controlled, outputs the PWM signals to drive the servo motors directly, aesthetic and minimalist customization design makes it can be mounted in the base bracket and simplify the wiring. Mini Digital Servos: Two GH-S37D digital servos for a faster speed, higher torque and better holding capability (than analog servos). You'll be Getting: 1 set pan tilt bracket kit, 2 digital servo motors, a PTZ controller board (with 4 jumper wires), a pack of screws.

I wish I had bought something else

It looks like a good thing until you put it together and realize the screws provided aren't holding it together. It won't even hold my camera securely! I won't be using it until I find a better way to hold the pieces together.

Works as advertised

Ordered this for a small security camera project I am putting together. There isn't much documentation, but it's also very easy to set up. Make sure you get the picture from the website for connecting the jumpers. Assembled and started in 15 minutes.

The Pan n Tilt product was missing a 15 pin to 22 pin camera cable for the Pi Zero&W board. Contacted the seller and he quickly sent the missing cable. Tested the 2 DOF platform with 5MP 1080P camera board with PTZ control board and found that they work as advertised. Unfortunately, the screws that were supposed to attach the servos to the base didn't hold them together. The problem was solved by attaching the base to the servo with nylon cable ties.

Rocks too much for tracking applications

Possibly good for manual pitch and tilt adjustments where weight is critical (e.g. on a drone) but not recommended for software object tracking. The design is light, the joints are loose. Any adjustments to pan or tilt angles will result in camera and image shake. Position feedback should be slowed down to a minimum to avoid instability. After a long struggle I gave up and coupled these two servos instead: amazon.com/gp/product/B07QH97XKN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not as great as it looks, but it works.

I was very happy to receive my suitcase. Unfortunately, the included screws for the base don't hold the base together. I have yet to find longer screws. The screw attaching the servos to the base was supposed to be 6mm, but the shorter screw was the only one that worked. I worry that it might fail at some point. Instructions are not as clear as they could be and can be confusing at times. It is best to watch assembly videos in addition to working with written instructions. If you don't mindโ€ฆ
