The pins are soldered but can be carefully removed.

you suit me. Built in protection isn't enough and I've smoked a few of these but the fault is mine. I use them with Arduino Pro minis and the software interface is easy to implement for both transmitter and receiver.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • expensive

We strongly recommend downloading the library for this device.

I would like this device to come with a library. If you're using an Arduino, you'll need to add it to the Arduino/libraries/RF24-master/ path. Below is sample code I used to communicate with these RF transceivers: //define radio#include <SPI.h>#include <nRF24L01.h>#include <RF24.h>#define CE_PIN 7#define CSN_PIN 8const byte thisSlaveAddress[ 5] = {'R','x','A','A','A'};Radio RF24(CE_PIN, CSN_PIN); This should make it easier to communicate with these devices. Please don'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not everything fits

They work great - networking products

They work great when used with the RF24 standard library in Arduino. Good range. Using it in combination with the boosted and antenna versions works well.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing

Fake Nordic Chips: Computers and Accessories

Although these transceivers may work, they are not based on Nordic's original nrf24l01+. If you use two of these you're fine, but they won't work with original Nordic chips due to differences in Ack or No-Ack packet markings.

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Operating Speed

One is broken, one is miscut but generally decent

I bought these for an Arduino project. They mostly work as expected. However, the box arrived slightly damaged. One of the boards was DOA and completely nonfunctional (looks like bad soldering on closer inspection). The other one too had a small piece of circuit board hanging off the end, although it was easy to cut off. However, the other 8 were fine and appear to be fully functional after a short test.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Useless features
