Great tool, great price!

Great value for this powerful flaring tool. I extended the 3/16" stainless steel brake pipe twice and it worked out quickly and perfectly.

Pros
  • Great for me

Perfect fit for brake line extensions

I used it to replace impulse brakes on a boat trailer. Does exactly what it should. I already have another trailer so it's already paid for itself.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Easy to use, good value for money

Like any special tool. a bit of a learning curve but within minutes of getting it I was putting my line together and in the car. Much easier than putting several pieces together to get the right length.

Pros
  • Nice packaging

One of the best investments in a toolbox.

Only 5 stars because Revain doesn't have a 6! I'm not sure if this is Eastwood's renamed tool, but it doesn't have the inherent problem that some Eastwood tools had with pipe slippage during reaming. Strong clamp! And it has a special DIN flare die, which is a little different from the double flare half, or some call it bubble flare. DIN is the correct metric stamp for European vehicles and some Japanese vehicles. I use this tool to convert Porsche 993 front hardlines and all crossover pipes to

You'll never go back to that damn T-handle.

I lost the 3/16" die for my Bluepoint tool and decided it was time to make true bubble highlights instead of half double reversed highlights. When I saw that this weird leverage could do it, and without twisting my arms for hours, I thought it might be worth a try. I live in the rust belt and I replace a lot of brake lines. This thing expands pipes with incredible ease. Don't bend the last 2.5 inches of the pipe until you flare it out as the blocks that clamp the pipe plus the pipe nut are just

Value for money: This set is the cheapest of these bench bell sets. Everything seems to come from the same factory in China, so why pay 40% more for a "brand name"? I was happy with the quality. Comes in a decent ABS plastic case so I can throw it in the closet for 1 year or next time I need it and everything will be in there. I just wish they weren't so expensive because other types of torches are $30. It definitely kept me on the fence about buying this. But when I got it, it was worth it…

  • I don't really like anything about it, everything is fine
