Fits well but no thread

Good fit. It's just that the aluminum caps were unthreaded so I couldn't put them on unless I bought a faucet small enough to make the threads.

Pros
  • Light bars
Cons
  • Working speed

The small screws on the top plate don't fit.

. The screws provided to connect the steel plate above do not fit in the holes. The screws are cheap and too easy to remove. The only way to connect it was with other screws. You have to solve this problem.

Dressing plate not so easy to install due to a factory defect

Nice solid brackets that look nice and cables can be routed under the grille for a neater look. The problem that is talked about so much is true. The aluminum plate, which is supposed to cover the bolts of the lantern, has no pre-thread. Although they give you self tapping screws that don't work. I tried all the sheet metal screws in different sizes and found that even some of the holes are drilled in different sizes. Maybe it's as simple as drilling larger holes and then trying their screws…

Pros
  • Accent and off-road lighting
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Looks great. self tapping screws will not work

I would easily give 5 stars if the little "screws" on stainless steel end caps worked. I tried very carefully but ended up breaking one and I had to spend a couple of hours even more carefully to drill it out. I end up buying different devices to stick them on. It looks really great, and the way it uses plastic standoffs behind all the screws makes for the cleanest install I've ever seen on a lightbar. I would suggest that Aries either punch holes in the lid or find another solution for them…

Pros
  • Lighting and Lighting Accessories
Cons
  • Functionality
